Business Scholars Program

Business Scholars students.

Business Scholars are a community of talented students with a strong interest in pursuing business-related fields who participate in opportunities developed to complement and enhance their academic program. This two-year experience begins with incoming First Year students engaged in a “learning by doing” environment which guides them through personal and professional development on their collegiate journey.

Benefits of Participation in Business Scholars Program

  • Enhance Professional Development Skills
Students interact with faculty, alumni, and corporate partners through various programming and events including the Business Etiquette Dinner and company site visits. The Scholars Seminar 1100 course provides professional development through individual exploration of strengths, leadership styles, personal branding, and cultural competency as they seek to become leaders in a global economy.
  • Connect with Fisher College of Business
All Business Scholars have an immediate connection with their Business Scholars Program Manager who supports students as a mentor, advocate, and coordinator of their Scholars experience. Business Scholars also have a specific Academic Counselor who understands the program expectations and promotes academic balance.
  • Learn about the Global Business Environment
Business Scholars have the opportunity to travel to a major national business center within the United States to meet and network with Fisher alumni, visit national and international companies, experience cultural events and practice networking skills.
