Background

Peter York joined the Fisher College of Business in 2023 as an adjunct professor. He teaches Corporate Restructuring and Bankruptcy.  Peter joined Fisher after a 30+ year banking career having spent the past 21 years as a Managing Director at JPMorgan Securities.  Peter's focus was on secured bank lending in the global debt capital markets, specifically leading JPMorgan's Global Investment Banking, Syndicated, Asset-Based Lending product.

Peter is also a competitive age group triathlete and is ranked All-American and All-World Athlete.  Peter has competed at numerous national championships, three world championships and will be racing for Team USA at the ITU World Championships in Spain in Sept 2023.

Peter lives in Columbus with his wife.

Capital Markets course covers the broad background of debt capital raising from various perspectives (Corporate Treasury; Money Center Financial Institutions; Private Equity; Institutional Investors; etc.). Prereq or concur: 7212 and 7213.
