Ralph Greco

Ralph Greco picture
Director
Ralph Greco is the Director of the Nationwide Center for Advanced Customer Insights, as well as the Director of the Business Analytics Initiative at Fisher College. He also leads the Business Analytics Industry Cluster.

Prior to joining Fisher, Greco was a client executive for IBM and a business unit executive for the company’s North American channels. He was a vice president of worldwide business development for Sterling Commerce, which was acquired by IBM in 2010. He has also held a senior leadership role at Accenture, where he led efforts to create and manage technology alliances with clients in both the private and public sectors.

Aimee Yoon

Aimee Yoon picture
Executive in Residence
Dr. Yoon is a full-time data science specialist with the Enterprise Analytics Office (EAO) team at Nationwide Insurance. As the Executive in Residence, Aimee is the connection between Nationwide and the Center’s research activities. In this role, she is responsible for fully utilizing the Center's insights to help Nationwide's business partners make data-driven decisions to improve business outcomes.

Prior to working at Nationwide, she earned a doctorate in Sociology from The Ohio State University. Prior to Natoinwide, Dr. Yoon worked as a data scientist specialist at Accenture.

Prior to her graduate program at Ohio State, Aimee earned a B.A. in Sociology from UCLA, a Master's in Sociology from CSUF and taught sociology classes at Coast Community College and Mt. San Antonio College.

Mike McCaslin
Research Coordinator, Nationwide Insurance
Dr. McCaslin is a Director of Marketing Research on the Customer Analytics team in Nationwide. He works to fully leverage the insights and findings from the Center in supporting Nationwide management decision making and improving business performance.

Prior to joining Nationwide, Mike was a former Graduate Research Associate with the Center during his time studying for his PhD at OSU.

Mike earned a doctorate in Psychology from The Ohio State University.

Tim Welch

Tim Welch picture
Administrative Associate
As administrator of the center, he is in charge of all human resources and financial functions. He has bachelor's degrees in Biology and Psychology. He has extensive office management experience and taught classes on Microsoft Office and Office Management for more than five years at a community college.

Jeff Gory
Graduate Research Associate, Department of Statistics
Jeff Gory is a Ph.D. student in Ohio State's Department of Statistics. Before coming to Ohio State he earned a B.S. in Statistics and a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from North Carolina State University. He also has an M.S. in Statistics from Ohio State.

Prior to joining the center, Jeff worked in Ohio State's Statistical Consulting Service. His role in the SCS was to assist graduate students from other departments at Ohio State with quantitative aspects of their research. This included assistance in such areas as experimental design, data management, data analysis, and model interpretation.

Matt Irwin
Graduate Research Associate, Department of Communications
Matt Irwin is a 3rd year PhD student in the School of Communication. He earned his BS in psychology and film studies at the Ohio State University. His doctoral work as a member of the Communication and Psychophysiology research laboratory has primarily focused on dynamic cognitive processes during media use and media selection, and their immediate and long-term relationships to attitudes, attention, and cognitive resources. Matt has taught lecture and lab courses on visual communication design, research methods, and evaluation & usability testing.

Sahil Kaura
Graduate Research Associate, Fisher College of Business
Sahil Kaura is a Full Time MBA candidate at the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. Before returning to school for his MBA, Sahil earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology in Mesra, Ranchi, India.

Prior to joining the graduate program, Sahil ran an entrepreneurial risk mitigation start-up called Probitas Verify in New Delhi, India, where he specialized in business development, technology management and new product innovations. Before starting his venture Sahil worked as a software engineer in the French company Atos, where he managed data issues and change implementations for a Dutch telecom client using the computer languages UNIX and Oracle.

Jackson Kantruss
Graduate Research Associate, Fisher College of Business
Jackson Kantruss is a 2nd year Full Time MBA student at the Fisher College of Business, focusing on Corporate Finance and Analytics. Before coming back to school for his MBA, Jackson earned an Honors B.S. in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware.

Prior to coming to Fisher, Jackson worked as a Business Analyst and later a Senior Business Analyst for RNSolutions, a technology company in Rockville, MD, where he specialized in data migration efforts for grants management systems as well as reporting using the IBM’s business intelligence application Cognos.

Katie Sasso
Graduate Research Associate, Department of Psychology
Katie is a 4th year PhD candidate in the Department of Clinical Psychology at OSU. Her doctoral research has focused on integrating various assessment approaches in order to identify more robust predictors of patient response in psychotherapeutic treatment. She has also done work to better understand the processes by which psychotherapeutic interventions achieve their effects and how such processes may interact with client characteristics. In addition to her work in clinical psychology, Katie has also pursued a minor in Quantitative Psychology.

Currently, Katie is interested in using her background in research design and analytics in order to generate actionable insights to process related problems in a variety of settings.

John Honaker
John Honaker
Graduate Research Associate, Department of Statistics

John Honaker is a Ph.D. student in the Deaprtment of Statistics at Ohio State. Before joining OSU, John earned an MS in Biostatistics and a BS in Mathematics from West Virginia University. Before working at the center, John worked as a student researcher and consultant for the WVU School of Public Health and West Virginia Clinical and Translational Science Institute's joint consulting service. He also had an internship at the Center for Disease Control's National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health branch.

Shreyan Ganguly
Shreyan Ganguly
Graduate Research Associate, Department of Statistics

Shreyan is a third year graduate student in the Department of Statistics at the Ohio State University. Before joining Ohio State for his PhD, he earned his M.STAT degree from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, India.

Prior to joining the Center, he served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for two undergraduate statistics courses. He also interned at the MSME sector of the Central Statistical Organization in New Delhi, India, where his project was on determining factors which help the Micro, Small and Medium Industries prosper in the different states across India.

His current research interest is in the field of locally stationary spatio-temporal processes and their applications in modelling.

Sophie Nguyen
Sophie Nguyen
Graduate Research Associate, Department of Statistics

Sophie a Ph.D. student in the Department of Statistics at The Ohio State University. She earned a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Truman State University and an M.S. from the University of Wyoming.

Her research interest is in design of computer experiment. She is currently working on developing efficient algorithms to locate the optimal designs with respect to different design criterion.

Before joining the Center, Sophie worked as a consultant at the Statistical Consulting Service where she provided statistical consulting to graduate students and researchers from other disciplines on various projects. Sophie also served as a teaching assistant to introductory statistics classes at both OSU and Wyoming.
