Peer Career Consultants
Fisher College of Business Peer Career Consultants are trained undergraduate and graduate business students prepared to support undergraduate business students by:
- Reviewing job search materials, including resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn and Handshake profiles, and employer/networking correspondence
- Planning customized internship and/or job search strategies
- Conducting QUIC Interviews and interview preparation conversations
- Discussing job offers for evaluation and negotiation assistance
- Presenting to business courses and student organizations on career-related topics

- “What inspired me to become a Career Consultant was the desire to help and give back to students after receiving so much help during my own recruitment process. Navigating the recruitment process can be intimidating and challenging, but having someone to help guide you through it makes it much easier.”

- “It's never too early to start searching for an internship or job. Even if that is just attending info sessions or networking these small things add up and help you get that internship/jo's never too early to start searching for an internship or job. Even attending information sessions or networking events can make a big difference and help you land the internship or job that you are passionate about.”

- “Join as many organizations as you can while balancing academics, perfect your resume, cover letters, LinkedIn profile, Handshake profile, start your internship/job search as early as possible, network with professionals in the industry that you are interested in (especially recruiters), and most of all - Remain optimistic!”

- “You can get a 100 no's but all it takes is 1 yes to get a life changing opportunity! Do not get discouraged in the job search process as it is different for everyone. Trust the work you put into it and great things will happen. Do not be afraid to network and connect with Fisher Alumni and people in roles you are interested in.”
